Dog Training Workshops in Nailsea, Clevedon & Portishead

Periodic sessions for the life and social skills your dog is always developing.

Now for the fun part

No course to commit to – just book on for whichever session suits you and your dog.

These sessions are the natural next step once you’ve done some 1:1 training together, giving you both a chance to put new skills to the test in a group setting, on Fairlight’s own private fields in Tickenham.

Life & Social Skills Masterclass

This is the one place to bring what you’ve learned in 1:1 sessions out into a slightly bigger, slightly more distracting world before you take it out for real, on your usual walks.

Lead walking, recall, socialising: the focus shifts session to session depending on what the group needs, so no two classes are ever quite the same.

Because of that, this workshop is for dogs who’ve already done some 1:1 training together it lets me get a feel for your dog first, so the group stays calm and enjoyable for everyone in it.

If you haven’t started 1:1 training yet, that’s exactly where to begin, and this is where you’ll head next.

“Georgina is a fantastic trainer and the most inclusive i have ever found.

My adopted boy has a few issues but we joined the gun dog training. When i struggle with him reacting she steps in to help but also ensures he gets as much out of the training as all the other dogs.

She effortlessly adapts the class to suit every dog which is amazing and not found at most other dog training.

The facilities are also awesome and you feel you able to really focus on what you are there to do. I never come away feeling upset on how reactive my dog has been but instead feel great that he has been included and had a great time.
Thank you so much i really do enjoy the classes and so does Harri.”

Gundog Games

Gundog games training fun workshops with Fairlight Dog Training
Part competition, part social – Gundog Games brings the whole companion gundog community together twice a year, once in summer and once before Christmas, for a fun, low-pressure day of games, rosettes, and treats (kindly supplied by a friend’s dog treat business).

It’s less about winning and more about being part of something together.

Gundog Games is open to dogs who’ve been part of Companion Gundog training as it’s as much a social for the group as it is a competition.

Gundog Games consists of three parts – retrieves, scurry and hides – which you can see the community taking part in below.

“Attended Georgina’s Gun Dog Games on 5th July. It was a really fun event, well organised and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Our dog enjoyed it even more than we did! Looking forward to the next one.”
